BC Hockey announced that the Vancouver Canucks will hold a First Strides Program in Summerland, BC on September 10, 2011 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Summerland Arena. The program is in conjunction with the Canucks visit to Penticton and the Okanagan region for their rookie and training camps.

OMAHA is looking at incorporating a Juvenile House Hockey League into Superleague.
Any 1992/1993 born SOMHA players interested in playing in a Juvenile House Hockey League for the 2011/2012 season should contact Brenda Froese (Registrar) by July 30th 2011. This League will only commence depending on numbers from Associations.
