As we are all aware, the 2020 hockey season was anything but normal. While we are still unsure of what hockey will look like in the fall, the SOMHA executive has decided that we will begin planning for the 2021-2022 season and are moving forward with the registration process.
We are asking for families to register their players and select the instalment option with a $75 deposit/per player. The remaining registration fee will be divided in to 3 instalments; August 1st, September 1st and October 1st. The instalments will automatically be processed to the card you use to pay the deposit.
The registration deadline is July 1st; players not registered before the then will be wait listed and may not be eligible to play. Residential Waivers will not be considered until after August 1st on a division by division basis, however you should still inform us if your player wants to play with SOMHA by July 1st.
You can register your player here : https://somha.com/registration/
If your family is not comfortable with any of the guidelines adopted, you may request a refund prior to any participation in SOMHA. With the exception of cancelling the season, please note that all other standard registration withdrawal policies will remain in place.
We are aware that some families are facing financial hardship during this pandemic. If there is anything we can do to help your child return to hockey when it resumes, please reach out to our registrar, Mark Antonello, and we will try to assist you.
If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out to me and I would be happy to try to find the answers to your questions.
Brianne Hillson, President of SOMHA on behalf of the SOMHA Executive Board
